"Some of the greatest minds on earth live in the sea." ~ Anthony Douglas Williams

As this posts, Mom is winging her way back to Central New York. She has been visiting since Valentine's Day, and we have managed to fit in many things in the time that she has been here. Toward the end of last week, we took an "Eco" boat tour. We were on the water for nearly three hours, and saw and heard about the wildlife in the area where we winter. It was a wonderful experience. I have seen dolphins here before, but never in such numbers or so close up. It was a real treat for us both.

For lunch, we anchored near Bird Island, where we were treated once again to nesting Wood Storks, but also Roseate Spoonbills. Such a lovely pink color!

Next week I will have one final excursion to share with you. It has been great to have Mom here, and I'm already planning things to do next year!

  2. Fantastic photos. We often see dolphins when sailing in Scotland but I've never managed to capture the moments on camera.
